Please be aware that there are two men around the town of Mountmellick, Laois that are impersonating waterboard staff asking to check water meters.
Do not let them in to your home as it is a possible attempted robbery. They were last seen in Kirwan Park.
Please never let anyone in to your home that you have not asked to come around especially in the case of service providers such as ESB, UPC or Sky Digital. They shouldn’t be there if you haven’t requested them and always ask for ID. If they look suspicious call the Gardaí immediately.
