A Kildare man in his 40s has admitted to raping and sexual assaulting his daughter over 9 years ago.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to seven counts of sexually assaulting the girl on dates unknown between January 1, 2003 and March 21, 2006.
He also pleased guilty to four counts of rape between October 1, 2006 and May 25, 2007.
The man has been given bail and adjourned sentencing for the preparation of a victim impact report.
