A 43-year-old man has died after he was stabbed in Limerick.
The man was discovered on Lenihan Avenue at 12.30 am and was taken to the Mid- Western Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The scene is preserved pending a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.
