Gardai from Crumlin investigating the armed robbery of a cash-in-transit van at a service station on Walkinstown Ave. on Saturday the 14th of July 2012 this afternoon carried out a search and arrest operation.
During the operation a number of houses were searched in the South Dublin area and Gardai recovered firearm and a large amount of cash. A female aged in her 20s and two males aged in their 40s and 20s were arrested.
They are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939, at Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda Stations.
