Gardai at Tallaght are investigating a fatal stabbing which occurred at Kilclare Crescent, Jobstown, this afternoon Thursday 5th January, 2017 at approximately 3p.m.
The male youth in his teen’s was removed to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination. The Garda Technical Bureau is scheduled to attend the scene later.
No arrests have been made at this time, investigations are ongoing.

On the 15th September 2016 as part of Operation Thor, Gardaí from Trim Garda station were on patrol in the Kiltale area of Co Meath. At approximately 11.30am they observed a target vehicle, a silver VW Golf with four males in the forecourt of a service station in Kiltale. As the members drove into the forecourt the suspect car reversed into a civilian car and injured a female. The suspect car then rammed the Garda car and fled the scene. Two of the suspects fled the scene on foot but were followed by both Gardaí. One suspect (18 years) was arrested on suspicion of burglary an is being detained at Trim Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
The injured female and two Gardaí were taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown for treatment.
The silver golf was found a short time later in a field approximately one mile from Mullagh Cross on the Summerhill to Dunboyne Road. Local Gardaí are been assisted by the Air Support Unit in a search of the area.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have seen this car a silver VW Golf in and around the Kiltale area or may have seen it being abandoned at Mullagh Cross to contact them at Trim on 046 9481540, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
Gardaí are investigating an aggravated burglary which occurred at Pauds Cross, Blarney, Co Cork on the 12th Septemeber 2016 at approximately 21:05.
A lone male entered the house and was confronted by the owner (man early 60s). A struggle ensued in which the injured party received a number of puncture wounds. The suspect fled the scene and the injured party was taken to Cork University Hospital and has since been released.
Gardaí were alerted and after an immediate and extensive search, a man in his early 30s and a woman is her mid 20s were arrested and brought to Gurranabraher and Mayfield Garda Stations and are being detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, as amended.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 13 year old Daud Hassan missing from Dublin since the 12th September 2016.
Daud was last seen close to the GPO, Lower O Connell St at approximately 11.35am today. Daud is of Somalian background and is described as being 5ft 5inches, of medium build with black hair and brown hair. He was wearing a full length white tunic, blue jeans and a red sash around his shoulder. Daud does not speak any English.

In an effort to reunite property recovered by An Garda Síochána with owners and to provide support to victims of crime, a Garda National Property Recovered Day will take place on Thursday 22nd September 2016.
While most property recovered by An Garda Síochána is immediately returned to its owners, particularly in the recovery of property stolen in the course of theft and burglaries, there are cases where An Garda Síochána is unable to identify the owner and the property remains in Garda custody.
Members of the public are invited to attend selected Garda stations, in each Garda Division, where photographs of property in Garda custody can be viewed. In addition the public will be able to avail of the services of Crime Prevention Officers and Victims Services at selected stations.

As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí from the Kildare District assisted by the Regional Support Unit carried out a number of searches across Kildare from 7am on Friday 9th September 2016 to 4am on Sunday 11th September 2016.This operation consisted of eleven searches of private residences and a number of arrests. Over €90,000 of Cannabis Herb was seized (Subject to analysis).
Files will now be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the arrests.
Twenty two checkpoints were also carried out by Gardaí and the Taxi Regulator across the Kildare District over the same period of time resulting in a number of road traffic offences being disclosed. Two persons were arrested and detained on suspicion of carrying out burglaries in the Kildare District. They have since been released without charge and a file will now be submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardai in Clondalkin wish to seek the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16 year old Lauren Larrissey.
Lauren was last seen in Clondalkin on the afternoon of the 2/09/16. She is described as being approximately 5’5” in height with long fair hair and blue eyes. When last seen she was wearing blue jeans, a grey jumper and blue runners. She is known to frequent the Kilkenny City, Tallaght and Clondalkin areas.

Caelob O’Neill 19 years who was missing from Stradbally, County Laois has been located safe and well.
Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 19 year old Caelob O’Neill missing from Stradbally, County Laois since Monday 5th September 2016.
Caelob was last seen at the Charlie Chaplin Campsite, Electric Picnic on Monday morning 5th September 2016 shortly after 9am. Caelob is described as being 5’10” in height, of medium build with short brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen Caelob was wearing a black jacket, dark navy bottoms, a multi coloured t shirt, Dunlop wellingtons and light coloured waterproofs.

Gardai in Clondalkin have renewed their appeal for information in tracing the whereabouts of 14 year old Nathan Kelly.
Nathan was last seen at approximately 2.40pm. on Friday the 22nd July, 2016 on Neilstown Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 12. He is described as being 5ft 6′ in height, brown hair with a quiff and of skinny build. When last seen he was wearing a blue zippy top and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Gardaí wish to seek the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of, 16 year old, Shauna O’Brien who is missing from her home at Monastery Grove, Enniskerry.
Shauna was last seen on the 28th July, 2016 at around 10pm in Dublin city. She is described as being 5ft 11, slim build, blue eyes, fair to light brown shoulder length hair. When last seen she was wearing dark blue jeans, a check pink and grey shirt and a navy jacket.
