Shooting at Bray Boxing Club

Update:

Gardai investigating the fatal shooting in Bray this morning have named the deceased male as 50 year old Robert Messett.

Gardai wish to trace the movements of the silver coloured Volkswagen Caddy van with Northern Irish registration used in the shooting. It is believed that this van travelled from Bray through Shankill and the Cornelscourt area before being abandoned on Pigeon House Road at approximately 8.05am where a male was seen leaving the van and cycling away.

Gardai wish to appeal:
– to anyone who witnessed the movements of this van along the route travelled between 7am and 8am this morning
– to anyone with Dash Cam footage along this route between 7am and 8am
– to anyone who witnessed the male cycling away from Pigeon House Road at approximately 8.05am

Gardaí can confirm that one man aged 30 years has died following a shooting incident in Bray, Co. Wicklow this morning 5th June 2018. The body of the deceased remains at the scene pending the arrival of the State Pathologist and a technical examination of the area is being carried out by Garda Crime Scene Examiners.

Two other men, aged 35 and 57, who were injured in the incident have been taken to hospital.

Following examination of CCTV in the area, we now wish to appeal for information for a silver coloured Volkswagen Caddy with Northern Irish plates. Anyone with information is asked to contact Bray Garda Station on 01 6665300.

Gardaí are at the scene of a shooting incident at Bray Boxing Club in The Harbour, Bray, Co. Wicklow.

The incident happened at about 6.55am and three men are believed to have been seriously injured.

The suspect left the scene in a white or silver van, possibly Ford make with British number plates.

Fatal Shooting James Larkin House, Dublin 1

Gardaí at Store Street, Dublin 1 are investigating a fatal shooting at James Larkin House, North Strand, Dublin 1 last night, Tuesday 30th January 2018.

The shooting occurred at approximately 9.45pm. A 27-year-old male received fatal injuries and his body has been removed to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place. The area has been sealed off for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.

Man shot North Strand Dublin 1

Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident at James Larkin House, North Strand, Dublin 1, which took place at shortly before 9.45pm on Tuesday 30th January.

A man in his late 20s has been taken The Mater Hospital with gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

The scene is sealed off to facilitate a technical examination of the area . Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Store Street Garda Station on 01 666 800.

27-year-old shot dead at halting site in West Dublin

A 27-year-old man seriously injured in a shooting incident at Bridgeview Halting Site shortly after 3pm has been pronounced dead. The man’s body remains at the site and the location has been sealed off. The State Pathologist and members of the Garda Technical Bureau have been requested to attend the scene.

A second scene has been preserved on Crag Ave where a car was located on fire shortly after the incident.

An incident room has been established at Lucan Garda Station where investigating Gardaí will conduct a case conference later this evening.

RTE reported “The killing is believed to be the 14th murder in the ongoing Hutch/Kinahan feud.”

Garda and civilian injured in Ballymun shooting

Gardaí in Ballymun are investigating a shooting incident in Ballymun on the 7th December 2017.

The incident occurred during a planned search of a house in Barnwell Drive. Two people have been injured, a Garda and male civilian, both were treated at the scene by trained Gardaí and DFB. They have taken too hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

We have no further information at this stage an update will be issued in due time.

GSOC have been notified of the incident.

Investigations are ongoing.

23-year-old shot and killed in Coolock

Gardaí in Coolock are investigating a fatal shooting in Coolock on the 28th October 2017.

The shooting occurred at approximately 2.20am this morning on Moatview Avenue. A male(23 years) received fatal injuries and his body remains at the scene. The area has been sealed off for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified. No further information available at this stage.

Man shot and killed beside Eddie Rockets Citywest

Gardaí are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at Fortunestown Lane, Tallaght, Dublin 24 at approximately 9.20pm this evening, Monday September 18th 2017. One man aged in his late 20’s, suffered gunshot wounds.

The injured man received medical assistance at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later. A post mortem is to be arranged.

The scene at Fortunestown Lane is preserved pending a Garda technical examination.

Gardaí at Tallaght are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Fortunestown Lane Tallaght Dublin 24 at approximately 9.20pm this evening (Monday September 18th 2017) A man believed to be in his 20s received a number of gunshot wounds.

Emergency services are currently at the scene.

Man shot in Walkinstown

Gardaí are at the scene of in incident at a scrap yard on the Greenhills Road, Walkinstown which occurred at approx. 11:35am.

A man aged in his early 40s received an apparent gunshot wound during the incident.

It is reported the suspect entered the premises armed with a shotgun and fled the scene on foot.

The victim has been taken to Tallaght Hospital were his condition is unknown at present.

It is believed that the victim was not the intended target.
