A man caught selling heroin in west Dublin has been told he will avoid a conviction provided he stays out of trouble.
Patrick Fennell, 38, a father of three from Greenfort Avenue, Clondalkin, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin on November 4, 2011. At the time he had no previous convictions.
When stopped and searched by gardaí at Neilstown Road, Clondalkin he was found to be in possession of heroin to the value of €280.
The case was adjourned by Judge Anthony J. Halpin today at Blanchardstown District Court for three months. He said Fennell would not receive a drug dealing conviction provided he did not come to garda attention again.
