Phoenix Park stabbing incidents rises to nine
Gardaí have arrested a man after nine males were stabbed in separate incidents at a Swedish House Mafia concert at the Phoenix Park in Dublin.
One man in his twenties remains at Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown, in a serious condition. It is understood he suffered four stab wounds.
The other eight victims were treated at the scene or hospitalised briefly. All of the victims were aged in their teens or twenties.
Gardaí believe more than one man may be responsible for the stabbings. The 23-year-old man arrested by gardaí is being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
Meanwhile gardaí are seeking to identify a man in his twenties who died after seeking medical attention at the concert.
It believed he died from a drugs overdose.
He was taken to Connolly Memorial Hospital and a post mortem was being held on his body today.
There were also a number of arrests for public order offences at the concert.
