Gardaí are calling for witnesses to an incident involving assault and criminal damage that took place at approximately 2:45 PM on Monday, 22nd April 2024, in Ballaghderreen, County Roscommon.
During the incident, a man in his 70s was allegedly assaulted but did not require immediate medical treatment. The investigation into this matter is actively continuing.
Authorities are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have witnessed the event. Additionally, road users who were in the Brusna area of Ballaghderreen around the time of the incident and have dash-cam footage are urged to come forward and assist the investigation.
