Criminal Assets Bureau Swoops: Over €200,000 Seized in Kerry Raid

The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB), supported by local Gardaí from the Kerry Division, the Armed Support Unit, and the Customs Dog Unit, conducted a comprehensive operation in County Kerry today, targeting the assets of a suspected drug trafficker. This significant law enforcement operation, which involved over 90 personnel, led to the seizure of assets exceeding €200,000. Besides the cash, electronic devices and documents of evidential value were also confiscated.

These searches underscore CAB’s ongoing commitment to dismantling organized crime by disrupting the financial foundations of those involved in criminal activities. While the investigation continues, CAB’s efforts highlight the critical role of collaborative enforcement in maintaining community safety and integrity.
