In a significant development, Gardaí have charged two individuals following a major joint operation with Revenue officers, leading to the seizure of 12kg of herbal cannabis valued at €240,000. The dramatic bust occurred at two separate locations in Swords, Co. Dublin on the 9th of June, 2025.
A male suspect, in his 30s, has been formally charged in connection with the seizure and is set to appear before Balbriggan District Court this morning, Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 at 10:30 am.
Additionally, a female suspect, in her late teens, was also charged related to the seizure but has been released on bail. She will appear before Balbriggan District Court at a later date.
This operation underscores law enforcement’s ongoing commitment to tackle drug-related activities, with investigations still underway.
