Gardaí have issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in locating Petru Aldea, a 52-year-old man, who has been missing from his residence in Arklow, Co. Wicklow since early Sunday morning, 8th June 2025.
Petru was last observed at approximately 9am on Saturday, 7th June 2025. His physical description is as follows: around 5 foot 6 inches tall, slim build, with brown eyes and brown hair. At the time of his disappearance, Petru was wearing a grey tracksuit and carrying a black backpack.
There is significant concern for Petru’s welfare and safety. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who might have information concerning Petru’s whereabouts to get in touch with Arklow Garda Station at (0402) 32304, or through the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or by contacting any Garda station nationwide.
